Milan, May 20, 2025 – Dynamo, a European platform for secure and sovereign data sharing, has been officially recognized by Gaia-X as a “Lighthouse Data Space”, a title reserved for projects that exemplify the principles of the European federated data infrastructure.

This recognition reinforces Dynamo’s role as a key player in building a European data ecosystem, based on interoperability, transparency, traceability and digital sovereignty. As a LighthouseDynamo will be a reference point for the adoption of Gaia-X standards and for the promotion of open and federated data governance models.

We are happy to see how the subjects who are really working on the creation of a European data sovereignty system are increasingly united and are taking concrete actions,” said Francesco Bonfiglio, CEO of Dynamo. “This recognition by Gaia-X is a confirmation of the value of our federated approach and our commitment to a European, ethical and sustainable data economy.”

Setting Dynamo apart is its pioneering integration of eIDAS electronic signature technology in the onboarding process, enabling participants to securely sign self-declarations with legally binding European trust services. This enhancement significantly strengthens trust and compliance within the ecosystem while streamlining the verification process.

The recognition as a Lighthouse Data Space allows Dynamo to actively contribute to the definition of reference architectures, interoperability models and trust frameworks for European data spaces, in strategic sectors such as industry, energy, mobility and healthcare.

Dynamo will continue to work with public and private partners to accelerate the creation of sectoral and cross-sectoral data spaces, promoting a resilient, competitive and citizen-centred European digital infrastructure.
